WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF CUTTING POWER TO AGRICULTURE SECTOR

Karnataka Govt. to cut power to IP sets to the farmers, to 6 hrs a day. Farmers are forced to limit their farm produce to minimum level. As a result, therewill be low supplies of farm products against their demand. i.e., a big gap between demand and supply.

This creates an artificial scarcity of farm products. Prices will spiral-up and un-affordable to the common man.

So, the Govt. should shoulder the responsibility for creating such scarcity of farm commodities.

Under these circumstances, the Govt. of Karnataka should avvoid power cut to IP sets of farming community.
